To Make Him Known… Here

We will continue pouring into our family here at UBC by funding the needs of our existing ministries and staff. Additionally, this initiative will enable us to bolster our leadership in several key areas. Part-time staff members will be added for children’s ministries, student ministries, and facilities support. Full-time staff members will be added to oversee and build our missions and outreach efforts, as well as our adult education and leadership development ministries. By God’s grace, we will see the people of UBC continue to grow and mature as wholehearted disciples of Jesus Christ.

To Make Him Known… Near
(~$1.7M)

We will reach people in our community who are near but aren’t yet connected to our church. To do so, we will need to remodel and expand onto our existing buildings. The new expansion at Main will include: 1) a 500-seat multi-purpose worship center that can expand to 725 seats and also be used for student ministry; 2) a spacious lobby with adjacent connecting/storage rooms; and 3) an industrial-sized kitchen. The remodel at UBC Main will include: 1) widening and refreshing the hallways; 2) updating the sanctuary; 3) and converting the overflow and office areas into multi-purpose classrooms. Expansions at UBC East will include a new lobby and a garage. We do this so that more people can come together and worship Jesus Christ.

To Make Him Known… Everywhere
(~$500K)

We will do our part to fulfill the Great Commission and help people everywhere come to know Jesus. This dollar amount is double the amount we normally give to fund our missions efforts over two years. The increase will allow us to support church plants and mercy ministries in both the Greater Dayton area and among the unreached parts of the world. We want to reach people who are outside our church and our city with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This will be a “One Fund” Initiative. What does that mean? Instead of giving toward multiple designated funds (general fund, capital campaign fund, missions fund, etc.), we will be combining all financial giving into one fund for the next two years. This one fund is called “Make Him Known.” It will include our everyday ministry budget as well as the funds for our expanded vision.
