Women Who Long to be a Mom with Kayla Botswick

Celebrating Mother’s Day From Hard Places A Podcast Series Honoring ALL Mothers

As an encouragement, UBC’s Women’s Ministry recorded five podcast episodes addressing just a few of the various seasons and “hard places” of motherhood.

Do you deeply long to be a mother, but learned you can’t have children? Are you single, yet still desperately feeling the call to be a mother? Have you suffered a miscarriage that has left you feeling hopeless, alone, and in deep despair? Maybe this Mother’s Day you have empty hands raised high with tears rather than overflowing arms with a baby. Friend, you’re not alone. 1 in 6 women have or will experience infertility of some varying degree and 1 in 4 will lose a baby through miscarriage. Today, we’ll hear from Kayla Botswick, a woman who desperately wants a family, as she shares her heart and journey of longing to be a mother and wrestling with infertility this upcoming Mother’s Day. She shares her extreme hope-filled highs and shadow-filled lows and how her faith in Jesus has helped her walk through each weepy disappointment with the hope of Christ in view.
