Please read 1 Corinthians 1:10-17

  1. Please read 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. Obviously there is much that could be said about this passage, specifically how do Paul’s instructions here give us perspective on the division in the church talked about in chapter 1 and 3?

  2. Please read Philippians 2:1-4 and Philippians 4:2-3. What can we learn from the instructions from Paul on unifying in the Church?

  3. What are some reasons disunity can creep into the Church?

  4. How do you understand “Christian Tribalism” ?

  5. What are some ways we are tempted to “spruce up” the Gospel message and focus on human eloquence? (1:17)
