Observations
Notice the two groups Paul addresses – a natural person and a spiritual person. Theologically, who is a “natural person”? Who is a “spiritual person”?
Among the mature, there are two groups: spiritually mature and spiritually immature. Theologically, who is a spiritually mature person? Who is a spiritually immature person?

In verse 9, we see Paul quoting Isaiah 64:4. In what ways can this quote deepen and clarify your knowledge of God?

Notice verse 15. What does the term “judgment” mean? How can seeing wisdom as the way we look at all of life – and discernment as the practical steps we take when making decisions – help us the most?
