Main Claim: In a world full of darkness, the light of life is found in Jesus
What does the claim mean?
Light here is a reference to Christ’s divinity
The Feast of Booths as an immediate context is not accidental and is directly tied to Jesus’ claim
Why does the claim matter?
Jesus is either truthful or a liar
If you are not following Jesus then you are walking in darkness
You can be walking in darkness even when you are devoted to religion
How can we respond?
Reject Jesus and live in the darkness of sin
You can accept Him and live in the light
