Acts - Week 11

Sunday, March 27th, 2022

  1. Have you ever seen or experienced a hard situation that led to a group becoming uniquely unified afterward? (This could be a country, family, church, job, etc. Could also be a specific historical point.)

  2. Throughout the first 4 chapters of Acts, we’ve seen the believers come together in a very special way. What circumstances led to their unity?

  3. Read Acts 4:32-37 and pay attention to the ways the believers were united in love.

  4. In this passage, which verses speak to the unity that the believers had?

    • What did that unity & love look like practically? (How did they show it?)

  5. How was it possible that there was “not a needy person among them?” (vs 34)

  6. Have you ever experienced that kind of loving & sacrificial community? If so, how?

    • What physical or emotional needs did they meet for you?

  7. How do John 17:20-21 & Acts 4:33 work together? (How does Jesus’ prayer for His followers relate to these believers in Acts 4?)

  8. What seems to be easier for you - loving those inside the church or outside the church? Why?

  9. What are 1-2 specific action steps you can take to grow in this kind of sacrificial, merciful love? (Both to those inside the church and outside the church.)

  10. Was there anything else from this passage or sermon that stood out to you as encouraging, challenging, etc?
