Read Acts 25

Review the main application points:

  • When your life doesn’t go as planned, choose to trust God’s plan.

  • When it’s hard to trust God’s plan, remember Jesus and his resurrection.

  • What are some ways recently your plans have fallen apart?

  • How have you seen God’s plan unfolding? In what ways do you need to trust him more?

  • Consider James 4:13-17

  • God clearly communicated his promise to Paul in Acts 23:11. The fruition of that promise took some time. What is something you thought God would do quicker in your life? How can the eventual fulfillment of God’s promise to Paul give you faith in your circumstances?

  • Consider 2 Peter 3:8-9

  • Festus appears to have no desire to deal with the questions surrounding the resurrection. How does the resurrection confront our life choices?

Two questions to ask yourself:

1) Who is Jesus?

2) Did he rise from the dead?

  • Jason talked about Paul’s willingness to die for his faith. How does a willingness to die affect your daily faith?

  • Based upon your regular habits and walk with Christ, can you honestly say you are willing to die for your faith?

  • Consider 2 Timothy 4:6-8

Ask for prayer requests and close it out!
