Read Acts 26

Review the main application points:

(Main Idea) Sometimes God allows trials so you can tell how he transformed you

  • In your trial, don’t resist God, submit to him.

  • In the midst of your trial, look to talk about yourself less and testify about Jesus more

  1. Why does Paul tell so much about his background and past life? How can your past life be leveraged in Gospel conversations?

  2. “The Lord saves us to send us” was a key line in the sermon when talking about Paul’s testimony. Is there a person the Lord has been laying on your heart to share your testimony with? Please share!

  3. What are some ways you have made your testimony more about yourself and less about God?

  4. What does “kicking against the goads” mean in verse 14? Have you or someone you know experienced this stubborn state of mind?

  5. Jesus identifies directly with the church in verse 15. What are some ways we can degrade the church instead of defending her?

  6. “I love Jesus, I just don’t care for church people.” How should we understand this popular sentiment?

  7. 26:22 Paul points to his ongoing help from the Lord. Can you point to a specific moment where you received help from the Lord? Explain.

  8. Consider Psalm 121

If you have time: Identify the key aspects of Paul’s testimony before Agrippa. How can we pattern our testimonies after Paul’s?

Ask for prayer requests and close it out!
