Because God is the God of the nations, we must be a church that is for the nations
What does this passage teach us historically?
- The three sons of Noah had many descendants that spread across the world 
- Many of the descendants of Ham are the historical enemies of Israel 
- Shem is the ancestor of the people of Israel 
What does this passage teach us theologically?
- God is God over all the nations 
How does this passage apply to our lives?
- We are to be a church for all the nations

- Why does God care about all the nations of the world and what should our disposition be towards other peoples? 
- Please read Acts 17:26-27. What is the end goal of God in relation to the nations? How is Jesus good news for all people? Revelation 7:9-10 is the ultimate fulfillment of this promise. 
- What are some practical steps you can take to cultivate a heart that yearns for the nations to come to Christ? (Praying, Giving, Going). 
- How do we become a space where we welcome the nations here? In your home? in our church? What is your contribution and involvement? 
- Please read Matthew 24:14. What is your role in this mission of God we have been invited to participate in?
