  • Have you ever had a moment with the Lord where he had to “take you outside” to see the world and your circumstances from His perspective? What was that like and how does God transform our perspective?

  • Please read Romans 4:1-5 and Galatians 3:5-7. How does the Apostle Paul understand Genesis 15:6 for us in the Church? How does Genesis 15 help us understand the grace of God and the way Christ “credits” our accounts with righteousness?

  • What does the covenant cutting ceremony in Genesis 15 teach us? If this covenant is unilateral, how does that help us understand Abram’s relationship with God? What does this teach us about God’s character?

  • What are some ways you fear desertion from God or others?

  • What are some ways you fear delay in the promise or work of God in your life? (2 Peter 3:9)
