3 Ways We Become Mature In Christ

  • By knowing who he is

    • Please read Colossians 1:9-10. What are some of the marks of individuals growing in knowledge of Christ?

    • What are some truths of the person of Christ? Take a few moments to remind yourself who he is from the Scripture.

  • By growing in obedience to his teaching

    • Please read Hebrews 5:11-14. How is maturity defined in this passage?

    • What is one step of obedience you need to take in your walk with Christ this week?

  • By showing others how to do the same

    • What is one person you need to share the Gospel with?

    • Please read Colossians 3:16. How are we as a group at admonishing one another?

Jason announced two big areas of growth in our church including church planting and discipleship pathways. What were some of your main takeaways from those practical areas of growth for us?

Do you believe the Lord is stirring in your heart to participate in church planting in any way? What are some of the questions you have surrounding this endeavor for UBC in 2025?
